2018 / Short Film
Briefing
As part of an art project, a short film was to be created that portrayed the fear and horror of the population during the air raid on Düsseldorf on June 12, 1943 using the example of a single family. The film shows just one of the fates from a night in which almost 600 people lost their lives in the attack by British bombers.
The film has won several international awards in the categories of 'best short film' and 'best director'.

Making a historical film is always a challenge, even if it's short. In the end, we could find a kitchen from the time of the Second World War in the Kitchen Museum in Hanover and win a troop of re-enactment actors for the scenes in the bunker. The streets of the old town of Düsseldorf-Kaiserswerth served as the backdrop for the outdoor scenes.

Johnny Depp once said: 'Awards are not as important to me as when I meet a 10-year-old kid who says, that it loves Captain Jack Sparrow.'
We feel the same. If the customer is satisfied, then we have achieved our goals. ...we are of course still happy about an award :)
